Course terms

These terms apply to de101's live online German courses booked by consumers. The provider is Anjum Rauf, de101 (see the imprint).

An enquiry on this website is not binding for you or for me. After your enquiry I reply by email with the course dates, the price and the payment details. Your booking becomes binding when I confirm your place in writing and you accept it. The price in that confirmation applies.

You receive an invoice by email. Please pay it by bank transfer by the date on the invoice. Course materials are included where the course page says so.

If the course is not right for you, tell me by email after your first class and before your second, and I refund the full course fee, no questions asked. This is in addition to your legal right of withdrawal below.

As a consumer you can withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded. To withdraw, tell me (Anjum Rauf, de101, Viscardistr. 9, 82256 Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany, info@de101.info) in a clear statement, for example by email. You can use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to. Sending your notice before the period ends is enough.

If you withdraw, I refund all payments I have received from you without delay and at the latest within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the same payment method unless we agree otherwise. You pay no fees for the refund. If you asked for the course to begin during the withdrawal period, you pay an amount proportionate to the classes held until you told me you are withdrawing.

Classes take place live online at the times in your booking confirmation. If you miss a class, you receive the materials to catch up before the next one.

If a course cannot start, for example because too few people have booked, I tell you as early as possible and refund anything you have paid in full.

While you are enrolled you get a Course Portal account for materials, assignments and feedback. The de101 certificate confirms that you completed a de101 course; it is not a Goethe-Institut or telc certificate. How your data is processed is described in the privacy policy.

German law applies. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection that the mandatory law of the country where you live gives you.
